Geoffrey Bouillot’s gray-scale paintings represent portraits, still lifes, landscapes and interiors.）
An artist based in Tokyo, he was first inspired by modern art. His paintings reflect influences of 20th century artists such as Picasso, Braque and Léger. Mixing cubism and minimalism, his work is fully contemporary art even if he declares himself "New Modern". Light, balance and strong contrasts are his research topics.
 
1990年にフランス、バーガンディに生まれたGeoffrey Bouillot（ジョフレ・ブヨ） は東京を拠点に活動しているアーティストです。
ポートレイト、静物画、ランドスケーxプ、インテリアなどをグレイスケールペインティング（モノクロアート）で表現することが彼の作風です。
彼はモダンアートに強く影響を受けたアーティストであり、Picasso, Braque, Leger など、20世紀を代表するアーティストたちの作品が強く反映されています。
自身は“New Modern”だと主張しているが、CubismキュビズムとMinimalismミニマリズムを混ぜ合わせた作風は、とても“Modern”であると言えます。
陰影の強さを表現することが彼の研究テーマと言えます。
